Music students present pieces they are developing and receive guidance from professional artists participating in the festival. Jennifer Lane will work with Julia Turnbull, soprano, and Matthew Stephens, piano, on "The Lament of Ian the Proud" by Charles Griffes. Garry Clarke will work with Alek Fester, baroque oboe, and Mark Shuldiner, harpsichord, on a suite by Pierre Danican Philidor. Gabriel Dobner will work with Derek Chester, tenor, and Mark Shuldiner, piano - repertoire on Robert Schumann's Liederkreis, Op. 39, Nos. 1-6. |
