SMF stays open after hours for a concert of “night music,” including Beethoven’s famous “Moonlight” Sonata played on a period fortepiano and Boccherini’s String Quintet depicting the streets of Madrid at night. Two other works, Barber’s Dover Beach and Dvořák’s String Serenade, round off the evening with perennial concert favorites.
