Continuing a tradition, SMF opens Summer Sounds with a night of works by central European composers, beginning with Strauss’ waltz that gives the concert its name. The program also includes several songs by Hugo Wolf, works for multi-hand piano, and the popular Piano Quintet of Dvořák. It’s a musical party full of spirit and unforgettable melodies.
